CalleaDesign was born in Trieste, a city between the sea, Central Europe and Italian culture.
This special location also shapes the way we work: a balance between artisanal tradition, openness to design and a taste for elegant, understated forms.
From our workshop in San Dorligo della Valle, we design and manufacture products that today find their place in many homes across Italy and Europe.
Our Origins
The story of CalleaDesign began in 1967 with Livio Callea.
What started as an artisanal workshop dedicated to furnishing elements has, over the years, become a family business now carried forward by Adriano and Giulio Callea.
The experience of their father, the creative sensitivity of the new generation and the work carried out in our own workshop still form the heart of our identity today.
All our creations are designed and made in Trieste, with the aim of bringing together Italian design, artisanal care and contemporary production technologies.
Creativity Born in the Workshop
Every new product begins with an idea.
In our workshop, drawings, experiments and new solutions are constantly taking shape. Not every idea becomes a product: only those that convince us through their design, technical feasibility and coherence with our identity are developed further.
This is how CalleaDesign creations take form, bringing together design, colour and artisanal know-how.

For us, the relationship with the customer does not end at the moment of purchase.
We support our customers before and after their order with guidance, attention and direct assistance. Choosing a CalleaDesign product means being able to speak with people who truly know the product, because they designed and made it.
This closeness allows us to respond to individual requests, help with the choice of colours and sizes, and provide support, accessories or spare parts even after the purchase.
