Against this backdrop, the Callea family's business originated and flourished: initially in the picturesque workshop in the artisanal area of Barcola, and later in the modern workshop located in the industrial area of Trieste.
Since 1967, the Callea handicraft workshop has been actively engaged in the home furnishing sector. The journey began when the founder, Livio Callea, started his business with an initial order for rifle stocks made of the precious walnut from neighbouring former Yugoslavia. Today, Livio's sons, Adriano and Giulio, work in the company and run a contemporary and technologically advanced workshop. This facility is responsible for the in-house design and production of all their creations, highlighting the family's commitment to craftsmanship and innovation.
